MUSIC AT RALPH CONNOR

Ralph Connor prides itself in rich, diverse and fulfilling music on Sunday mornings, Wednesday evening Evensong, and with many community gatherings.

Our wonderful musicians, Tanya Sullivan (Music Director) and Jan Tissandier (Evensong Coordinator) both have over 30 years experience in music leadership, and our Wedding Ministry pianist, Aurora Borin, is also a gifted musician.

This historic church in Canmore (built in 1890–91) and the Rundle Memorial sanctuary in Banff (built in 1927) both have outstanding acoustics for the many beautiful sounds of:

  • a first class piano
  • Flute
  • Guitar
  • Choir of 20 voices that ring through our souls
  • Soloists
  • Professional musicians
  • Alpine Voices Threshold Choir – Canmore
  • Ukulele lessons and performances – Canmore

We sing from the rich repertoire of Voices United and More Voices, plus a wide range of music arranged for choirs. Choir practice is held on Thursdays at 7:30 pm. Choir rehearsal does take a break in the summer (the final rehearsal for the 2022-23 season was on June 1st). New voices are always welcome, check our booking calendar for up to date rehearsal dates.

We are very proud of them!!  The second video clip features soloist LeeAnn DeCoteau and our Choir performing the rousing anthem “He Never Failed Me Yet.”
