Evensong by Zoom – this Wednesday at 7:15 PM
Prayer is moving.
Prayer is offering our bones back to the dance.
Prayer is letting go of everything that impedes our inner silence.
God is the dance and the dance is the way to freedom
and freedom is our holy work.
~ Gabrielle Roth
People danced communally to celebrate the seasons’ cycles, to express joy, reverence and grief, and to commemorate challenges overcome.
We find in the energy of the dance a deep connection to ourselves, each other, and our world.
It’s a path on our Way, a strand of the great web which gathers all life together in cooperation, harmony and unity.
~ Rowan Scott, Seventh Circle
We gather to pray together through dance, each in our own space, joined together in community.
Under the guidance of Marg Suurallik, you are invited to participate in gentle movement.
Whether you disconnect your earphones and stand, or mirror the gestures from your chair,
may we offer our bones back to the dance,
connect to ourselves, each other, and the world,
in joy, reverence, and grief,
in harmony and unity.
Zoom gathering space opens at 7:00 pm, Evensong begins at 7:15 pm
