Morley Christmas Project

We have celebrated with Morley for a number of years. I thought Covid had stopped us in our tracks until I talked with our Morley contacts. I realize, this year more than ever, there are Elders who need our support. Elders get OAS so they do not qualify for the Morley Food Bank. I have organized, along with 6 other churches, to reach out to the most needy Elders in all three Bands: Chiniki, Bearspaw and Wesley. Each Elder will receive a $150 gift certificate for Walmart. Most elders have 5 or more people living with them, usually grandchildren.
This year instead of turkeys, cookies, a mitten tree, collecting clothes and hefting tables, will you please consider making a benevolent donation to this project. Donations should be submitted to RCMUC by next Thursday, December 3rd.
To donate to Morley Elder Christmas: Please designate “Morley Elder Christmas” when you select your preferred donation method
