In the same way that Jesus reached out to all people, our faith community is called to be open and inclusive.

As congregations residing on treaty 7 lands, we continue to seek ways to be inclusive of all people of the Bow Valley,
regardless of gender, sexual orientation, age, cultural background, education level, mobility challenges… ALL people!
We are delighted that both Ralph Connor and Rundle Memorial United Church, Banff, are Affirming Ministries.

In order to take full advantage of grant monies, some  decisions will need to be made in early fall 2022; a congregational meeting has been proposed for Sunday, September 11th after worship.

Ralph Connor was pleased to partner with the Bow Valley Green Energy Cooperative, and the Church’s Faithful Footprints initiative,
to install solar panels on our roof in 2021.  To learn more about the building upgrades already made to lessen the carbon footprint of our building,

Early in 2021, the congregation of Rundle Memorial United Church, Banff, approached Ralph Connor Memorial United Church, Canmore,
to consider amalgamation of our communities of faith.  Much work has gone into these discussions, detailed here.
RCMUC Council has established an ad hoc Working Group to plan for a vote after the Sunday service on October 2nd, 2022.
They will arrange a number of opportunities for you to explore and probe the amalgamation in detail.
