Initiated in 2001, Evensong’s contemplative style of worship is a wonderful Wednesday evening service (7:15-8:00 PM) at Ralph Connor Canmore. Interspersing music, silence, poetry, prose, meditation, prayer, the gifts of the Spirit are very present in this place.
Starting in the fall of 2023, Evensong will alternate between in-person and Zoom. Oct 11 and 25 are in-person; Oct 4 and 18 are on Zoom. Watch the home page of ralphconnor.ca for future dates.
If you would like to receive the weekly email notice that includes service details and, when applicable, the Zoom login, please contact office@ralphconnor.ca
Evensong’s “The Longest Night” services are held the week before Christmas. Services from the past three years are available on YouTube: 2020 – 2021 – 2022
From mid-March to mid-June, 2020, as we adapted to the COVID-19 pandemic, Evensong members contributed a weekly meditation/reflection to our online Sunday worship service. To watch these, grouped one month per video, please click on the month to view on YouTube.
